Am I the only one who loved this song circa 2003?

I saw this Demi Lovato video where she does a riff that triggered memories of a song, I loved, but couldn’t remember.  So the brain-racking began:

“La, laaa crush on yooou” No. I googled the words to find everything from Michael Buble to Lil’ Kim. I even searched “alarm song boy” because those are the things I remembered from the video and I never underestimate Google’s power to take my random obscurities and turn them into sensible search results.
